Every wondered what happened to your favorite teachers. We will endeavor to find out for you. Send us their name and we will do some research and post the results.

My favorite is…

Teacher of the Year by LISD. Mr. Wylie has been teaching 40 years, 37 years at Longview High School. He has taught six summers at East Texas Baptist University. He teaches Pre/AP Physics, AP Physics C, and UIL Math. He has sponsored the UIL academic contests in Calculator Applications and Number Sense. At least one student has advanced to the UIL State Meet in Austin for 26 of the last 30 years. Four students have been State Champions and several have placed second or third at the State Meet. He provides after-school tutorials to students who need extra classroom help, pursue extra laboratory investigation, study for AP Physices Exam, and practice for UIL competitions in calculator and number sense.

C. C. Turner - Mr. C.C. Turner earned the name C-Squared from one of his many students long ago throughout his 40+ years of teaching upper-level high school mathematics at Longview High School.  Check him out on Facebook, still going strong!
